When Anna Lu Cho, commercial interior designer, left her corporate day job to launch her own sweet entrepreneurial dream, I eagerly accepted to help her visualize her story.
Moody Ice is a shaved ice shop in the Houston Heights, serving frozen sweet treats made of fresh, natural ingredients. Cho asked me to create a brand that both elevated the idea of the typical snow cone, and reflected her mission of creating concoctions that were both indulgent and nutritious.
The result is a bright, fun aesthetic with hand-crafted details and minimalist photography that reflects the pure, inherent, goodness that you find in nature's best ingredients.

My first consultation with MDI was to discuss updating a few of their materials. It quickly turned into recognizing the value of a huge brand overhaul that would update their image to better tell their story to the design community.
MDI is a recognized leader in the office furnishings industry and believes in making exquisite products and design accessible at every level. The new brand needed to reflect the products and brands that they represent and be just as elegant.
The result is a delicate, rich look with precise details and elevated photography to match. I dove deep into pushing the MDI brand to be more than just a logo and the end product is a comprehensive identity that reflects in their printed materials, online presence, digital presentations, photography, window film, copy, and more.

Blue Water Studio Branding
A blue water sailor is an individual who can navigate the deepest waters - far from the familiarity and safety of the shore. Someone who can comprehend the depth of their environment and use the power of keen observation to find direction. With this in mind, Kimberly Phipps-Nichol, interior designer and entrepreneur rebranded her small business so she can compete in the big leagues.
Creating a visual identity for her company meant communicating that not only are her capabilities far-reaching, she also runs an approachable, detail-oriented, and value-driven organization.

Dianne & Chris
Architect meets doctor, and the rest is history. A romantic Dallas affair with a a bit of edge meant blush and navy with flashes of gold, floral illustrations with the strike of a sharp line, and romantic nuptials amongst rooftops and high rises.
Ana Davidson was handed the reigns to an established Houston company. The generational shift meant that along with those reigns, came the responsibility to establish a visual brand to grow their footprint in an increasingly image-centric marketplace.
I designed a refined, elegant logo and identity system to reflect the high-end interiors products this woman-run, small local business represents.
The Hellenic Professional Society of Texas preserves and promotes Greek heritage and culture while providing annual scholarships to deserving individuals. I designed the event materials for their 2016 Scholarship dinner with no shortage of inspiration to draw from. 2000+ years of history and culture has its benefits.
